A quick note on keeping EH! neighbourly 🍁
Respectful posting, better conversations, and a few reminders for keeping EH! community first.
EH! was built for real conversation, the kind where people can swap opinions, challenge ideas, share a laugh, learn something new, and still treat each other like neighbours. As EH! grows, protecting that kind of space matters even more. We welcome passionate posts. We welcome different viewpoints. We welcome honest debate. What we don’t welcome are personal attacks, harassment, or anything that encourages harm. Those don’t strengthen community, they chip away at it. This isn’t about making EH! quieter or less interesting. It’s about making it better: more thoughtful, more local, more human, and more worth showing up for.

Speed check: we’re making EH! faster
Our dev team has been working hard behind the scenes on one of the most important things we can improve: how EH! feels to use every day. This round of work is focused on speed, stability, and smoother movement across the app, from loading feeds and opening groups to posting, scrolling, and jumping between screens. It may not be the loudest kind of update, but it’s one of the most important. These performance improvements are coming soon, and we’re excited for you to feel the difference, stay tuned!

Block, report, and keep moving
If someone is making your EH! experience worse, you don’t have to argue it out. Use Block to create space for yourself, and use Report when something crosses the line, harassment, threats, hate, scams, or posts that encourage harm. Every report is read by the EH! team and helps us keep the community safer, clearer, and more neighbourly.

“Due to a lawnmower malfunction, my yard is a jungle! But the yarrow lawn is coming in nicely! Native plant. Mows well. Smells great.”

“I was blessed with dramatic morning clouds, so I drove around looking for landscapes that complemented the epic sky. This is one of them. I’m always attracted to red, so this ranch became a prime subject. Then it was just a matter of balancing sky and land. Nikon D7100, tripod, 24-120 mm. zoom lens, graduated density (darkening) filter on the sky”
